It is that time of the year again where you can tell us about your favourite geocache to be in the running for the Geocache of the Year award.
In order to promote and reward quality geocaches we have made a number of changes. We will nominate a Geocache if the Year for each of 5 different categories:
- Traditional, Letterbox
- Virtuals, Adventure Labs and EarthCaches
- Mysteries, Wherigo
- Multis or Series
- Historic geocaches, placed before 2022 not previously awarded Geocache of the Month of Geocache of the Year
With the exception of Historic geocaches, all geocaches must be placed in 2022. All nominations should be active and the published coordinates and GZ should be in NSW. Furthermore, you cannot nominate your own geocaches.
All geocachers are invited to nominate their favourite geocache for one of more categories until 30 September 2023.
Based on your nominations the committee will prepare a shortlist with nominated geocaches for voting in November. As usual, Geocache of the Year announcements will be made at our annual Christmas Event.
