The 2025 GIFF (Geocaching International Film Festival) has come and gone, but we all enjoyed the selection of 20 Film Finalists this year. Once again, Geocaching NSW hosted an event at the Parramatta Bike Hub, Sydney Olympic Park.
We had a good roll-up of attendees, with 26 teams turning up to view the short films while munching on popcorn, sweets, biscuits and having some cups of coffee or tea. We were treated to a bit of nostalgia with a viewing of one of the 2023 and 2016 finalists by some Aussie presenters.
There were no Aussies in the final list this year, but we did have a special guest in Barucci, all the way from Poland, who had one of the entries, “GIFF Planning”. It was wonderful to have him along to share some laughs with us.
