Geocaching NSW held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday 11th of August. The virtual meeting was attended by 26 financial members of the association.
The President provided an overview of the Geocaching NSW events organised in the past financial year. After the Treasurer presented an overview of the finances, it was time to look to the year ahead.
The outgoing committee was thanked for their efforts, especially Bruce Buchanan (Calypso62) and Wil Alards (Wilbert67) who decided not run for re-election. With two new nomination received, all 7 positions could be filled for 2024-2025:
- President: Mark Hibbard (Team Canary)
- Vice President: Will Benson (rassilon256)
- Treasurer: Frits Coenen (Its_Dozzie)
- Secretary: Mark Weber (Brewmaker)
- Ordinary Members: Kathleen Weatherley (Mighty Minions), Bob Moes (Shrek) and Matt Godwin (Big Matt)
Traditionally, the destination for the GCNSW Expedition 2025 was announced. Tamworth, dust off your Golden Guitar as we will be coming to town!
Another highlight was the presentation of the annual GCNSW geocoin and the unveiling of the logo and design for the merchandise for our Sydney GeoQuest Block Party.
