The Geocache of the Month for July 2020 is School of Hard Knocks (GC83Y27) by MattyRx. It was nominated by No_Tomorrow, on the Geocaching NSW Forum.

This traditional cache can be found in Lismore and was placed in February 2019.

The owner explains that “This cache encourages you to take a stroll down the back alleys and take in the artworks and make your own mind up on weather [sic] you like it. There's always new art being created, and some of these artists have even come from abroad to add their flair to the Lismore back streets.”

Even better than just getting to enjoy the artwork is the field puzzle you encounter. You’ll need to come prepared with a little “spark”.

It’s a small size cache, difficulty 2.5 and terrain rating of 1.5 that has been found 50 times and it has received an outstanding 32 favourite points!

This is a must do cache if you find yourself in Northern NSW - explore the artwork, open the container and write your name in the logbook.
