The Geocache of the Month for March 2020 is Murrumbo Jumbo (GCJY1R) by Dingbats. It was nominated by Tangles 1970.
This Traditional cache was placed in July 2004, near the Bylong Valley, in the Mid-Western Regional Council Area.
The owner explains that the cache is “Not far from Murrumbo Trig, this can be done in a couple of hours if you are just passing by or it could be included into a day or overnight walk including Mt Kerrabee and beyond.”
Tangles 1970, wrote “once we made it to GZ what a spectacular view I would definitely say this is a solid 4 difficulty if you’re middle aged with a medium fitness level.”
squirrels0291 wrote “It took a lot of picking a way through the bush, scratches, scrapes.... all the things a good bush walk involves! And like the last to find, a feeling of 'I did this!' A big thank you for this cache, for even thinking of putting a cache here! Great views of the other side from GZ! Much appreciated and a favourite point from me!”
It is a regular size cache, an Ammo Can, Difficulty 1 and Terrain rating of 3.5. The cache has only been found 15 times in over 15 years!
Make the effort to get to GZ, admire the views and put your name in the logbook.
It is an ammo can with a very rare Difficulty / Terrain rating!
