Have you found a great NSW geocache that you'd enthusiastically recommend to the community?
All you have to do is nominate it in a reply in this Geocaching NSW forum or post a message on the Facebook page . Include a few words about why you think it deserves the award.
- It doesn't have to be a geocache hidden or found in the past month or even the past 12 months, in fact the winners have usually had time to mature and get a reasonable number of finds..
- It doesn't need to be some amazingly tricky mystery
- You can renominate a cache that has been put forward before, as long as it hasn't won yet. There are plenty of deserving past nominations.
The final decision generally takes into account finders logs and favourite awards logged over a reasonable period.

I'd like very much to nominate GLQ7GHVR - At the Governor's Pleasure as Geocache of the Month.

As I said in my log, "If ever there is a cache that every visitor to the City of Sydney (whether from overseas, interstate, intrastate or from the 'burbs) should do, then it has to be this one!!" Its a mega-multi that takes you on a journey of discovery through ‘old’ Sydney, to places that really should be on everyone’s ‘must visit’ list. These include some iconic Sydney locations plus lots of others that, though they are less well known, are just as interesting and important in terms of helping us to better understand Sydney’s early days. This multi is, however, not just about the journey ... the final destination and the cache itself are really special and a really fitting end to a great day out.

Though this multi cache was only published in October 2016, it has chalked up 36 finds in just 4 months (which in itself is pretty impressive for a mega-multi that takes the best part of a day to complete) and, more significantly, it has been favourited by every one of the premium members who have done it. 100% favourited ... that pretty much says it all!!
